Garden & Landscape Design
We are passionate about providing the same level of design detail to our gardens as we would our homes. Striving to bring the 'outdoors in'? Emily at TGC provides current design solutions that are practical, beautiful and based on design theory and practices. We believe limited space doesn’t mean limited potential, it's an opportunity for creativity. Our designs blend form and function, using thoughtful planting, smart structure and flexible spaces, creating liveable gardens that elevate everyday life.

Our work
Our experience within the built environment creates informed, balanced, practical design with strong visual appeal. The designs produced by TGC seek to create outdoor spaces that enhance everyday living while remaining timeless and inviting. Working closely with clients to understand how each garden will be used, and ensuring every design feels personal, thoughtfully considered and easy to maintain. The design process can be approached either 'in person' or 'remotely', we provide the same level of detail whether we catch up on site or get to know you via video call. Whatever level of input you require from us, all of our designs respond to the built form, apertures, materials and proportions. Strengthening the connection between indoor and outdoor spaces, creating a cohesive harmonious environment.

Remote / In Person Design Process
How it works (full design package)
1
Get Started
Start the conversation today.
All we need from you is your address, contact details, photos / rough size of your garden and what inspires you (don't worry, if you're yet to work this out we can narrow it down together). We will send you a quote and get you booked in. Not ready for a quote But want to know more? No problem hit the contact us button and we'll be in touch.
2
Measure up
Whether that's us (as part of our in person service) or you, we can guide you through the process to make sure we have the info we require. Not sure the measure up's for you? Don't worry, we can source suitable surveyors should you not be local to us. In some instances we may recommend a third party to carry out a topographical survey.
3
Let's get to know each other
Whether this is in person or virtually we will set up a meeting to discuss your wish list'for your future garden. We will take notes of all your 'likes and dislikes' and get to know you. The more info you can provide at this stage the better informed we are and ultimately the more we can tailor the design to your requirements.
Don't hold back!
4
The Green Light
Once we have your approval that the brief meets your requirements we will start curating the design pack this will include 2D scaled CAD plans, Materials, Planting suggestions as standard. Struggle to visualise?
We can add on a 3D design package to suit you.
5
Design Pack
On completion of the design pack we will issue the drawings and details via email (or online transfer). We can't wait to hear your feedback so please don't keep us waiting too long. Once you've had the opportunity to review the plans we welcome and questions you may have.
6
Feedback / Minor Amendments
Upon review, should you have a minor amendment you'd like to make to the plans, or perhaps a plant that you really dislike we'll happily update the spec to your request. Any major updates may require a review of the scope of works, we will do our upmost to accommodate your needs.
Full design package not for you?
No problem, we also offer one-off consultations, informal advice, sketches and Q&A sessions for those
who require the lighter touch - should you feel you fall into this category get in touch to enable us to tailor
our approach and services to meet your requirements.

The whole process has been enjoyable and invaluable. During the initial consultation Emily reviewed the site and listened to how we wanted and needed to use the space; whilst providing lots of inspiration and expertise.

The resulting project plan and visualisation is perfect, it has taken into account everything we asked for and so much more. We are able to move forward with confidence now; knowing the materials, furniture, planting etc will be practical and look amazing. Thank you

Thank you so so much for the plans
the revised one was amazing and is what we've gone for - it just makes the garden more interesting and hiding the shed for the bbq area
is such a good idea!
